Unsworth Hall
Unsworth Hall, a Georgian mansion at Blackford Bridge, has served as the home of Bury Golf Club since the club's relocation in 1920. The hall provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere that befits a club with more than 130 years of history.
The clubhouse offers comfortable lounge areas, a well-stocked bar with member discounts, spacious changing rooms, and the Vardon Room — our distinguished function space named after six-time Open Champion Harry Vardon. Whether enjoying a post-round drink or hosting a private event, the historic surroundings add a quality that few clubs can match.
Fine Dining in Historic Surroundings
Our catering team, led by Food & Beverage Director Stan Wrall, serves a varied menu of freshly prepared dishes in the elegant surroundings of Unsworth Hall. All members enjoy a twenty per cent discount on bar purchases.
The Vardon Room — our principal function space named after six-time Open Champion Harry Vardon — is available for private hire, from intimate dinners to celebrations and corporate hospitality. With flexible dining spaces and dedicated event coordination, we tailor every occasion to your requirements.
Fully Stocked Pro Shop
James Rowlands, our PGA Golf Professional, runs a fully stocked pro shop offering golf equipment, apparel, and accessories at competitive prices. Whether you need the latest driver, a new pair of shoes, or simply want to restock on essentials, James and his team are on hand to help.
Full custom fitting is available with Callaway, Ping, and TaylorMade, supported by Trackman Golf — the world's leading launch monitor. Fitting sessions are credited towards any subsequent purchase. Available to members and visitors playing the course.
